Golden India - Tandoori Restaurant in Lindenfels

Ordered here online for the first time yesterday, as my mother has already eaten at the old owner's place. The choice for vegetarians and vegans is large. There are also meat and pasta dishes here. We had the food delivered to us. We had to pay an additional € 2 for this. But it was worth it. After the mentioned 45 minutes the delivery came. The starters were very good, the sauces that went with them took a bit of getting used to, but tasty. Had never eaten Indian before. The main courses were very good too and we had fried bananas for dessert. They were also very tasty. But now to the prices: in my opinion, the price-taste result is very good. For a total of 4 people, 2 starters, 4 main courses and 2 desserts for a total of € 72. I have to say TOP for that.

Ordered by phone to Reichelsheim. 2 times vegan + naan bread. Food arrived still hot and was extremely tasty.

Ordered and picked up yesterday. Two very tasty naan breads and one duck and one vegetarian. Haven't eaten this well in a long time. The food was still hot when we got home and the prices are great. Highly Recommended.

I had been back in the area for a long time and wanted to eat Indian. When I wanted to pick up my food (there is a 10% discount by the way), I noticed that the owner had changed. They were very personable and nice. The food was delicious and the restaurant looked very neat. I'm already looking forward to when the lockdown is over and I can personally have a nice meal there. TOP, 5 stars!

Ordered twice by phone for 4 people and both times a dish is missing. All good things come in threes, so we will order again and hope that the order will then arrive in full. The food itself tastes very good.

We went to this restaurant for lunch during the week. Driven by, seen and spontaneously got a desire for Indian food. First of all: the Indian food was plentiful, really good and on the table in an acceptable time. You couldn't complain about that. But stained seat cushions on the benches and stained tablecloths shouldn't be. Especially since we were the only guests around 13:30. The staff sat at a table when we entered and had nothing to do but read the newspaper. During that time, the tablecloths could have been replaced for possible guests. It's a shame, because the food was really delicious ..! But this "ambience" doesn't make a good impression.

Went to eat there with friends. Friendly, attentive service and very tasty food. Also family-friendly, children are welcome even if the little ones are not sitting quietly at the table.

A German proverb says, “New brooms sweep well”. The new owner does, to say it with Trump, an excellent job! We were there with a group at the beginning of September 2020, got an excellent buffet (there was something delicious for everyone and all the dishes were fresh and hot!) And nice, attentive service! We can all only wish the restaurant: "Keep it up."

Nice restaurant with good tasty Indian dishes. Very friendly and courteous staff. A nice alternative to the home-style of the region. Do not worry, the dishes are not spicy. I will certainly eat my lentil soup and the lamb again. But the dishes with chicken meat are very good in taste. Highly recommended!

Incredibly delicious food and very friendly owners who are running the place. They are serving both, traditional Indian and regional (German) food. The owners, a young couple from Frankfurt, are very generous and courteous. The restaurant is located very central and offers a big parking lot right across from it. Absolutely recommendable!

I'm just a fan of Indian food and when I heard that there was an Indian living near me I was of course very excited. You do not expect too much at first. At best 0815 Indian food. Indian Palace is definitely over 0815. I would recommend anyone to take one of the menus. The soups and desserts are also the hammer. But let's start. Ambience and Location: The location is nothing special at first. You might even expect a bit more Indian ambience. At first glance, it is not that you want to go out again but especially inviting I would not describe it. Anyway, I can only recommend to eat there for the first time on summer days. Then you can sit outside in a courtyard. That's really nice, cozy and quiet. Highly Recommended. Service: The service is always incredibly friendly, you just feel directly welcome and comfortable. There is really nothing to complain about here. If the food lasts only a few minutes longer is directly sincerely apologized although you have not noticed that it took a little longer. All in all, you get everything pretty fast. Especially the drinks ujd also in between is always attentive to whether you want to have something. There is nothing to complain about here. Perfect all around. To eat and drink: Of course there are also spaghetti and schnitzel on the menu. Apparently, this must be in Germany so that even the jammed old uncle at family dinner, whose motto is "what the farmer does not know he does not eat," something to eat. However, I will never understand what such food on a map of an Indian restaurant. That would be the only "negative" criticism. Otherwise, everything you get there is terrific. As I said at the beginning, I can only recommend the menus. Preferably the menu 2 with the Dal soup in advance. This is an Indian lentil soup with butter naan bread. In any case, I would still order the Parneer Naan. This is filled with homemade cheese. Spectacular! Then you get a fantastic selection of Indian food. Butter Chicken, Grilled Chicken with Cashew Nuts, Cream Curry and Tomato Sauce with Basmati Rice. And then grilled chicken with a fantastic curry sauce. For dessert, there is actually Gulab Jamun. This reminds a bit of baklava from Turkish restaurants. I would only recommend if you really good food. I'm a good eater, but then that's too much for you. On request you get instead menu 2 also Kulfi. This is homemade ice cream. And take pistachio. Bomb! Is this all too much and you have a main course then I recommend Chicken Haryali from the Tandoori oven. Sau delicious! Picture is attached. These are the green chicken parts. Green because baked in spinach. But be careful, that's a bit spicy. Not particularly, but if you can not tolerate spicy food, then better not. Oh and drinks you get of course the usual standard for good prices and of course Indian specialties. I recommend a mango lassi to eat here. My favorite! Conclusion: All in all, just 100% recommended if you like Indian food. Oh yes and every Friday and Saturday there is a buffet dinner and on public holidays special buffets. Only € 14.50 per person, all you can eat of course. So the prices are right. I find it quite cheap for the quality. So clearly 5-stars!

Highly recommended, great kitchen and friendly service, parking in front of the door. After dinner then a city stroll through Lindenfels! We will definitely be back!

Nice service, nice food selection, great sauces. Reasonable prices. The peppermint sauce was excellent, we have not gotten that in any Indian restaurant. The marinade of the shelled prawns from the Tandori was incomparably good. Based on the dishes we have chosen, I can recommend the place. A whole page on the menu only for vegetarians.

Amazing food for amazing prices. Definitely tourist friendly. Naan is out of this world and is worth traveling hundreds of miles for.

First class food and extremely friendly service. The lassis in all flavors are an experience. The garlic naan as a starter and the dips were so good that we took a second serving. Will be happy to come back when we're around. :)

I am a tourist visiting Germany from the UK and saw a cultural restaurant so I decided to pop by. I was welcomed by the staff perfectly and felt that I was actually welcome in the restaurant I had a 3 course meal and it was one if the best food I've ever tried. The food was perfectly cooked with a amazing taste. Surprisingly the toilets were nice and clean which is unusual for a restaurant this clearly showed that the owners actually take care and take every role seriously also the food was priced perfectly totally worth it.

Very nice location. Food is delicious and the owners are very friendly and customer service oriented. In conclusion a must if you’re in the region or just passing by.
